 Braemar Gathering & Highland Games, Scottish highlandsThe Braemar Gathering and Highland Games is possibly the most famous of its kind in the world. Each year thousands of visitors descend on the samll village on the first Saturday in September to watch one of the more colourful Scottish traditions. It has been regularly attended by members of the Royal Family since Queen Victoria first attended in 1848.
